Established in 2007 by Pearl Ng and based in Hong Kong, Pearly caters to the most exclusive international private clients for one-of-a-kind jewelry and limited edition accessories coveted by women worldwide. Pearl was born in Hong Kong and raised in Sydney and San Francisco, Pearl grew up surrounded by the influences of top designers and painters, and was immersed in the world of art and design since a very young age. She earned her BFA in Industrial Design at The Rhode Island School of Design, MA at New York University, and certified by The Gemology Institute of America in Jewelry Designer. Pearl is also skilled in making of a wide variety of accessories; from couture hairpieces she studied at Parsons, to handbag making and apprenticing with shoemaking superstar Emily Putterman for years in New York. A sculptor at heart and possessing an extensive product and point-of-purchase design background, Pearl has worked in Providence, New York City and Hong Kong. Pearly pieces carry a definite American sensibility with its streamlined glamor, underlying practicality and strong emphasis on materials, form, details and techniques. Creating Pearly was the natural evolution for the designer to carry out her own vision of style and beauty baring her own nickname.
